CAF Introduces new Job Development Program

CAF is proud to offer a new immigrant settlement service as part of its Job Search Workshop Program. The program has recently extended its services to include Job Development as of May 2007. The new service is designed to target new Canadians who are assessed as job ready by assisting in developing their resumes, establishing connections and networks with employers and finding job placements that will ultimately lead to employment or to obtaining work experience.

CAF would like to take this opportunity to welcome Areej Hasso to fill the position of Job/Resume Developer. Areej’s experience with CAF for the past year has facilitated her ability to effectively assess the needs of the Arab-Canadian community and assist in the settlement process of newcomers to Canada. CAF will continue to implement the necessary strategies for securing employment for newcomers and will work steadfastly to achieve the goals of the JSW program and the individuals it is geared to serve.
